FREDERICK, Md. – Sam Hand, Julia Barry and Allie Peters all recorded first-place finishes, but the Albright women's swimming team fell to Hood 125-119 on Friday.

Hand led the Lions with wins in the 1000 freestyle and the 500 freestyle, while Barry emerged victorious in the 200 butterfly and Peters finished first in the 200 breaststroke.

In all, Albright recorded 18 season-best performances in the dual meet against the Blazers.

Hand posted a pair of seasonal-best performances in recording her first-place finishes. She won the 1000 freestyle in a seasonal-best time of 11:32.60 and placed first in the 500 freestyle in a season-best time of 5:37.20.

Peters also recorded a seasonal-best time in winning the 200 breaststroke in a time of 2:49.76, while Barry finished first in the 200 butterfly in 2:23.71.

Albright also received second-place finishes from Peters in the 1000 freestyle, Hannah Schrock in the 200 freestyle, Corrine Freeland in the 100 breaststroke, Dayne Martin in the 100 freestyle, Lily Ritter in the 200 breaststroke, Peters in the 500 freestyle, Martin in the 100 butterfly and Barry in the 200 IM.

The Lions also notched a pair of second-place finishes in the two relay events.

The team of Schrock, Ritter, Barry and Martin placed second in the 200 medley relay in 2:03.71, while the team of Hand, Peters, Kaitlyn Rockwell and Alex Trego finished second in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:51.68.
