Owings Mills, Md. – Maddy Greth led the Albright volleyball team with eight kills and two service aces, but the Lions fell in straight sets at Stevenson on Tuesday night. The Mustangs won 25-19, 25-7 and 25-16.

Morgan Puller had an ace to help the Lions get out to a 5-3 lead in the first set, but Stevenson scored eight of the next nine points to take a lead that it wouldn't relinquish through the rest of the set. Stevenson hit .348 in the first set and .312 for the match, while the Lions hit -.054.

Greth also tied for the team lead with six digs alongside Patricia Horgan and Becca Davis. Shaniyah Taylor was second on the team with four kills. Puller and Victoria Wainwright each had three kills.

The Lions will look to rebounds at the Arcadia Tournament this weekend. Albright will play two matches on Friday and two on Saturday.
