READING, Pa. – The Albright women's swimming team defeated Lycoming, 155-94, on Sunday afternoon. The Lions won 11 of 12 individual races and both relays.
In the relays, the team of
Julia Wadding,
Carly Jablonski, Ashley Chermol and
Alexis Willis won the 200-yard medley relay in 1:56.79.
Julie McNeil,
Tara McCloskey,
Dayne Martin and
Sammy Murphy were second in 1:59.06.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay, McNeil and Murphy were joined by Hannah Shrock and
Sam Hand in winning in 1:48.04. Jablonski and Martin, along with
Julia Barry and Cait Bedesem came in second in 1:51.18.
Wadding had two other first place finishes, winning the 50 and 100-yard backstroke races in 29.98 and 1:03.76, respectively. Chermol finished in first in the 100 freestyle (55.90) and the 100 IM (1:04.82). Willis had a victory in the 50 free (25.80) and a second in the 50 backstroke (30.87). McNeil won the 50 breaststroke in 33.83. McCloskey won the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.54. Barry had a victory in the 200 butterfly in 2:29.33.
Madeline Hudson won two races. She finished the 200 freestyle in 2:08.84 and the 500 freestyle in 5:43.41 to win each race.
Faith Guzzo earned a win in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:38.65.
