Maggie Jones and
Juli Hyatt as well as sophomore
Alaina Ricci each won their three individual races and one relay to lead the Albright women's swimming team to a 165-87 road victory at Hood on Saturday afternoon.
The 200 freestyle relay team of first-year
Megan Misurelli, Ricci, Hyatt, and Jones capped off the meet with a win in 1:48.96. Individually, Ricci won the 200 butterfly (2:26.28), 100 backstroke (1:04.39), and 200 backstroke (2:20.00). Hyatt took first in the 1650 freestyle (19:46.89), 100 breaststroke (1:11.04), and the 200 breaststroke (2:40.49). Rounding out the top three scorers, Jones grabbed wins in the 50 freestyle (26.15), 100 freestyle (56.87), and the 100 butterfly (1:04.71).
With two wins individually, Misurelli took the 200 freestyle in a time of 2:05.59 and the 500 freestyle in 5:37.12. Finishing first to the wall in the 400 IM was sophomore Brook Schlott in 5:18.50 as well as second place in the 200 butterfly and 100 freestyle. Junior
Amantle Mogara picked up a second-place finish in the 50 free in a timem of 27.39.
Women's swimming will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 18 as they travel to Bryn Mawr, Pa. to swim against Bryn Mawr College and Washington College (Md.) at 1 p.m.
