READING, Pa. – The Albright men's track and field team competed in their first indoor meet since the 2019 season at the Golden Wolves Rust Buster on Saturday.
Senior
Jade Harris qualified for MAC Championships in the 60m dash with a time of 7.25 in the prelims.
First-year Dante Zamichiele led all runners in the mile event with a time of 4:51.93. He also ran a 2:13.80 to place second in the 800m run.
The 4x200 relay team of
Conner Miller,
Jose Ortega,
Yaniv Gonyoe, and
Michael Maley earned first place with a time of 1:40.83. The 4x400 relay team of
John Villano,
Jose Ortega,
Michael Maley, and
Yaniv Gonyoe placed second with a time of 3:52.01.
Sophomore
John Villano led the Lions in field events earning first place in the high jump as he tallied a mark of 1.78 meters to qualify for the MAC Championships.
