READING, Pa. - The Albright Lions men's swim team participated in the MAC Virtual Pentathlon over the weekend. The Lions finished fifth of ten teams at the event as they totaled 149.5 points.
 
Albright men's swimming recognized seniors Corey Hausler, Harrison Hunsberger, and Kyle Morken during the event as a part of senior day activities.
 
The event featured each team swimming five events to come up with a team score. The teams competed in the 100 butterfly, the 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 100 freestyle and the 100 IM. Each swimmer was clocked and the results tabulated and scored. Any swimmer who swam all five events was eligible to be named the "King of the Pool".
 
First-year Devin Metzger led all Lions men's swimmers in the "King of the Pool" standings with an 11^th place finish after posting an overall time of 4:55.37. Metzger collected points in all five events as he finished 8^th in the 100 free, 12^th in the 100 back, 13^th in the 100 fly, 19^th in the 100 IM, and 21^st in the 100 breast to total 61 points.
 
Morken posted the highest finish for the Lions between the five races by tying for sixth in the 100 breast with a time of 1:05.05.
 
Misericordia's Jonus Gurski won the "King of the Pool" title with a combined time of 4:34.53.
