CHESTER, Pa. – The Albright Lions women's swimming team was defeated 134-115 by Widener in its first in-person dual meet on the road on Sunday afternoon.
Albright earned six first place indvidual finishes on the women's side out of the 14 events on the day. Senior
Maggie Jones led all Lion women swimmers with three individual wins in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and in the 50 butterfly. Senior
Juli Hyatt earned a first place in the 1000 freestyle, first-year
Morgan Stuhltrager recorded a first place in the 100 butterfly, and sophomore
Megan Misurelli added a win in the 500 freestyle.
The 200 yard freestyle relay team of Jones, Hyatt, first-year
Laurel Gingrich, and Stuhltrager earned a first place after posting a time of 1:46.71.
