LANCASTER, Pa. – The Albright men's track & field team competed at the highly competitive Franklin & Marshall Mini-Dip Invitational on Friday evening.
Senior
Jade Harris led the Lions on the track placing fifth in the 60m dash with a time of 7.27. First-year
Alijah Serrano in his collegiate debut earned eighth place in the 200m dash 2ith a 24.24 time.
Senior
Sidney Walker qualified for the MAC Championships in the 60m hurdles with a 9.49. First-year Dante Zamichiele also had a qualifying performance in the 1 mile run with a personal best 4:36.66. Zamichiele posted a personal best in the 800m run as well with a 2:09.31.
Sophomore
Jose Ortega (7.69) and junior
Taequon Overton (7.98) recorded personal bests in the 60m dash while senior
Justin Negron posted a personal best in the 200m dash (25.12).
First-years
Michael Maley and
Antonio Bargiel led the Lions in field events with personal best performances. Maley recorded a 5.39m in the long jump while Bargiel posted an 11.78m in the shot put.
