MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Albright women's swimming team competed against host Messiah and Misericordia in a double dual meet on Saturday afternoon.
Albright was defeated 89-164 by Messiah and 89-153 by Misericordia. The Messiah women's swimming team took down Misericordia 139-122.
On the women's side, the Lions collected five individual events. Sophomore
Laurel Gingrich led Albright with two individual wins. Gingrich swam a 25.39 in the 50 free and a 56.55 in the 100 free. Junior
Megan Misurelli earned first in the 1000 free with a time of 11:16.96, while senior
Alaina Ricci placed first in the 500 free with a 5:24.38. Sophomore
Morgan Stuhltrager swam a 1:02.03 in the 100 butterfly to place first.

The Lions will return to the pool on Thursday, Feb. 10
th at 10 a.m. for the opening day of the MAC Championships at York.
