READING, Pa. – The Albright men's track & field team had a strong showing at the Alvernia Plex Shootout on Saturday.
Sophomore
John Villano led the Lions in field events with a third-place finish in the high jump (1.80m). Villano also qualified for the MAC Championships in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.44 to earn seventh place overall. Junior
Sidney Walker earned fifth place in the 60m hurdles with a personal best time of 9.37.
First-year Dante Zamichiele ran a personal best 2:04.67 in the 800m run to qualify for the MAC Championships. First-year

Jose Ortega (24.62), and senior
Justin Negron (24.89) all ran personal bests in the 200m dash.
