YORK, Pa. – The Albright men's track & field team posted ten top-ten finishes at the York Twilight Meet on Wednesday.
 
Junior Sidney Walker led the Lions on the men's side with two top-five performances. Walker placed fifth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 17.23. He then finished second in the long jump event with a MAC qualifying jump of 6.69m.
 
Sophomore Jose Ortega posted two MAC qualifying track performances for Albright. Ortega ran a personal best 51.21 in the 400m dash to earn a third-place finish. He also posted a personal best time of 23.50 in the 200m dash for eighth overall. First-year Dante Zamichieli ran a 4:17.91 in the 1500m run to earn fourth place. First-year Tyler Washington also qualified for the MAC Championships in the 100m dash with an 11.68.
 
Sophomore John Villano posted a personal best 1.86m in the high jump to earn second place overall. Junior Omar Sesay earned third place in the triple jump with a 13.13m. Junior Christian Jusino posted a 35.19m throw in the discus event while senior Justin Negron rounded out the Lions top-ten field performances with a 42.17m throw in the javelin to place fourth. Jusino also qualified for the MAC Championships in the shot put event with a personal best throw of 12.11m.
 
The 4x400 relay of Jose Ortega, Zahieem Armstead, Dante Zamichieli, and Justin Negron placed third with a time of 3:34.87.
