ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Albright men's track & field team opened the outdoor season with a strong showing at the Muhlenberg Invitational on Saturday.
In his first meet for the Lions,
Omar Sesay earned a first-place finish in the triple jump with 13.51m to qualify for the MAC Championships.
John Villano qualified for the MAC Championships in the high jump with 1.85m to earn second.
Makir Compton placed seventh in the long jump event with 6.04m while Mike Maley posted a 5.99m as they both qualified for MACs in the event.
Alijah Serrano had two top-ten finishes in track events as he placed fifth in the 100m dash (11.47) and seventh in the 200m dash (23.31) to qualify for MACs in both events.
Sidney Walker qualified for MACs in the 110m hurdles with a time of 16.55 to place third.
Jade Harris earned fifth in the 400m dash with a time of 52.12 as he qualified for MACs.
