CHESTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Albright men's and women's track & field teams concluded the outdoor season at the three-day 2022 MAC Championships hosted by DeSales on Saturday.
The men finished in 11
th place while the women placed 14
th out of the 15 schools that competed.
On the men's side,
Sidney Walker finished in sixth in the 110m hurdles to lead the Lions in track events.
John Villano earned silver high jump with a 1.82m while
Omar Sesay finished fifth in the triple jump event with a 13.54m. The men's 4x400 relay of
Jade Harris,
Yaniv Gonyoe,
Justin Negron, and
Jose Ortega placed fifth overall with a time of 3:30.79.
On the women's side,
Laurel Gingrich placed fifth in the 400m dash with a personal-best time of 1:00.59.
Rachael Daniels tied for seventh in the high jump event with a 1.46m.
