Reading, PA - For the third straight match the Albright Lions won in straight sets, defeating PSU Schuylkill 25-8, 25-15, and 25-8. It improves the Lions record to 5-2 on the season.
Similar to their previous two matches, this match was never really close. After the PSU go it to 9-5 in the first set, the Lions outscored PSU 16-3 the rest of the set to win set one 25-8.
Set two was closer, but the Lions went on a 12-3 run at the end of the set to win set two 25-15.
The third set was more like the first, as the Lions never were in any real danger. With the score 7-5 Lions, Albright would go on a 18-3 run to finish the set and the match.
Over their last three matches, the Lions have won nine straight sets, but a combined total of 225-91, winning the average set 25-10.
