GRANTHAM, Pa. - The men's & women's swimming team was in action this afternoon and faced off against Messiah and Misericordia in double dual meet action.

Women's Swimming Results:
Laurel Gingrich took first in the 200-yard freestyle, winning the race in 1:59.83. Gingrich bested the field by over two seconds in the race. Gingrich also took home first in the 50-yard freestyle racing to the finish line with a time of 25.09. In addition , Gingrich placed second in the 50-yard freestyle finishing the race in 25.43.
Morgan Stuhltrager finished in a dead heat and tied for first in the 100-yard butterfly. Erin Goudie from Messiah and Stuhltrager both touched the wall at the exact same time of 1:01.83 in a fantastic finish to the race.
Megan Misurelli took second in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:26.91. Misurelli also finished third in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:34.55.
Men's Swimming Results:
Anthony Laite took home second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:51.62.
Drew MacDonald took third place in the 100-yard breaststroke finishing just ahead of fourth touching the wall in 1:04.37.
Pete Vanderwerf and Laite finished second and third in the 500-yard freestyle.
Vanderwerf finished in 5:03.11 while Laite rounded out the top three with a time of 5:11.26.

Men's swimming & women's swimming will now set their sights on the MAC Championships beginning in two weeks. The Championships will begin on Thursday, February 9 and last until February 12 taking place at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa.
