READING, Pa.- The Albright women's swimming team returned to the pool on Saturday (Oct. 14) officially getting their 2023-24 season underway against Lycoming College. 

FULL MEET RESULTS 

Morgan Stuhltrager was in action during the 200-yard IM and bested the field with a time of 2:24.09. Stuhltrager was not done for the day as the senior raced to a time of 1:08.02 in the 100-yard backstroke besting the field. 

In the closest race of the afternoon, Stuhltrager in the 100-yard butterfly, was beat out by one tenth of a second with a time of 1:05.12. 

Ruth Castro competed in the 50-yard freestyle and turned in a time of 37.98. In her second event of the day, Castro turned in a time of 1:28.96 in the 100-yard freestyle.

The women's swimming team will return home to the John Scholl LifeSports Center for their first home meet of the season on Saturday, October 21. The meet against Widener is set for a 1 p.m. start time.
