READING, Pa. - The men's indoor track and field team was in action throughout the day on Saturday and turned in solid times up and down the lineup. Sidney Walker led the way earning a MAC qualifying mark in the Long Jump. 

Prior to today's meet the Albright men's track and field program took the time to honor their graduating seniors for all their hard work and dedication throughout the years. The graduating seniors are Sidney Walker, Omar Sesay, Taequon Overton and Christian Jusino. 


Men's Track & Field:

• Sindey Walker finished 5th in the 60-meter hurdles and 4th in the long jump. The jump of 20'11.25'' resulted in a MAC qualifying mark for Walker. In the 60-meter hurdles walker dashed to a 5th place finish with a time of 8.87, a new personal best. 
• Omar Sesay took his turn at the triple jump and did not disappoint. Sesay took home 5th with a jump of 42'3.50''also a new personal best. 
• Beyah Rembert and Taequon Overton both turned in personal bests in the 200. Rembert turned in a time of 24.69 and Overton a time of 26.76.
• Jordan Patton ran to a personal best in the mile with a time of 5:46.92. 
• Christian Jusino was strong in the weight throw earning a new personal best with a throw of 42'2.75''. 
• In the 4x200 relay Rembert, Elijah Newsome, Michael O'Hanlon and Greg Hammond raced around the track for a new personal best for the quartet with a time of 1:38.91. 

UP NEXT:
The men's track and field team will now set their sights on the MAC Indoor Championships taking place on February 24 and 25. Alvernia University will host the 2023 version of Indoor Championships.
