Stuhltrager Places Fourth in the 100 Backstroke

The women’s swimming team was in action on Day 3 of the MAC Championships looking to build off their already impressive run in the Championships.

YORK, Pa. - The women's swimming team placed another swimmer on the podium this time in the form of Morgan Stuhltrager. Stuhltrager followed up her gold medal performance in the 200-IM earning another spot on the podium.

DAY 3 FINAL RESULTS 

Stuhltrager placed fourth in the 100 backstroke turning in a time of 59.92 in the finals. Stuhltrager improved on her time in the preliminaries (1:01.58) earning her third podium finish of the championships.

On Thursday evening Stuhltrager became a MAC Champion in the 200 IM blazing past the field finishing with a time of 2:10.77. The time of 2:10.77 is just behind Albright Hall of Fame swimmer Rachel Cantwell's 15 year record time of 2:10.25. Following that performance Stuhltrager placed fifth in the 400-IM with a finals time of 4:48.03 on Friday night.

The women's swimming team will conclude the 2023 MAC Swimming Championships tomorrow (Feb. 12) on day four of the Championships. Preliminaries begin at 9:30 a.m. with the finals to follow.
