YORK, Pa. - The Albright men's track & field team capped their 2023 MAC Championship in style on Saturday afternoon courtesy of Omar Sesay who took 7th in the men's triple jump.

Sesay reached a distance of 44' 7'' in his first attempt of the afternoon in the triple jump. The first round jump for Sesay landed him on the podium taking home seventh place for the Lions. Sesay bested the eighth place finisher by more than a foot.

Albright finished the 2023 MAC Championships placing three Lions on the podium in their respective events. John Villano in the high jump, Sidney Walker in the long jump and now Sesay with today's performance.

DAY 2 RECAP:

John Villano took home third today in the men's high jump for the Lions. Villano followed up his second place finish from a year ago with another podium finish this time taking home the bronze. Villano cleared a mark of 6' 2 ¼'' to claim third at the 2023 MAC Championships.

Sidney Walker took home sixth in the men's long jump for Albright on Friday. Walker's best jump of the day came on his very first jump of the afternoon with a distance of 22' 3'. The score was able to hold up throughout the event and allow Walker to take home sixth place.
