ABOUT ALBRIGHT
Saturday's game will mark the final home game of the season for the Lions. They are coming off an overtime thriller against Alvernia.
Chase Roberts is coming off arguably his best game of the season in which he threw for 255 yards and a season high three touchdowns. Roberts completed 20+ passes for the third time this season in the team's 22-19 win.
Alden Stickler was the hero for the Lions last week and hauled in a 20-yard touchdown pass in overtime for his second score of the game. The Sophomore leads the team in both receiving yards (429) and touchdowns (4).
First-Year back
John Boston leads the Lions with 585 yards from scrimmage and recorded his fourth touchdown of the season on a 25-yard catch and run.
The Lions' defense has now generated 13 sacks through eight games with
Darien Osmun having a team high 3.5.
Samuel Moratori continues to lead the conference in tackles and now sits at 82 for the year.
ABOUT KING'S
The Monarchs are looking to clinch the conference in their final road game of the season. They come to Albright following a 14-6 win over Delaware Valley and are riding a seven-game win streak (all MAC conference games).
Russell Minor-Shaw leads then conference with 20 touchdown passes and serves as the focal point for the Monarchs' offense. Minor-Shaw ranks fourth in the conference in passing yards (1341) and ranks second on the team in rushing yards (577).
Senior running back Brennan Robinson has averaged 8.6 yards per carry this season and has recorded 811 yards on the ground.
Sophomore defensive lineman Osman Kamara has been a force for the Monarchs' defense and leads the team in both sacks (7.5) and tackles for loss (9). Senior Safety Zach Barber has recorded a team high four interceptions.
