GWYNEDD MERCY, Pa. – Volleyball went on the road on Wednesday night paying a visit to Gwynedd Mercy. The Lions (4-2) dropped the match in four sets to the Griffins (3-2) 3-1.

After two sets in tonight's match, Albright and Gwynedd Mercy were tied at one set won each. The Griffins would go on to win the next two sets over the Lions to escape with a win on their home floor.

Neve Straff and Sophie Hampton once again led the Albright attack each turning in double digit kill efforts. Straff finished with a team high 11 kills while Hampton added 10 of her own. For Straff it is her fourth match this season with at least 10 kills while Hampton has three such games.

Lindsey Korn and Paola Mejias were busy on the defensive end both tallying double-digit digs. Korn ended the night with 13 and Mejias had 10. Mejias tallied 26 assists to go along with her digs.

Rachel Etim was strong up-front recording four total blocks on the night. Etim is now up to 19 total blocks this season in just six games played. Etim also added three aces on the night.

Seven different Lions recorded at least one kill while 10 different Lions recorded at least one dig.
