ABOUT ALBRIGHT

Saturday's game will mark the second home game of the season for the Lions as well as their second game against the Eagles in school history. Eastern's inaugural season was last year in 2023.

The Lions through two games have established themselves as a team with a respectable running game and a defense that makes the opposition work for every yard they get.

First-Year running back John Boston will look to continue leading the way for the Lions on the ground. Through three games Boston has averaged 4.3 yards per carry and accounted for a pair of touchdowns. Boston's 198 yards on the ground this season ranks him 8th in the MAC this season.

The Lions defense has recorded seven sacks and three fumble recoveries in their first three games with their junior safety Samuel Moratori having a team high 31 tackles. Through three games this season, Moratori and Sebastian Robinson both reside in the top 10 in tackles in the MAC.

ABOUT EASTERN

Saturday's game will mark the first road game of the season for the Eagles as well as their third conference game. They come to Albright following conference matchups with Widener University and Lebanon Valley College.

Eastern's offense begins with sophomore running back Jeremiah Avrilien. Through three games, Avrilien has averaged 77 yards per game and a very impressive 5.9 yards per carry.

Brett Nabb leads the Eagles in passing yards as well as being second on the team in rushing behind Avrilein averaging 4.9 yards per carry and 73 yards on the ground per game.

Senior defensive back Gashawn Moody enters this game with a team high 35 tackles along with registering a pair of TFLs, a forced fumble and two pass breakups.
