READING, Pa. – Volleyball (11-3, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth) played the second of their three straight home matches against Rosemont (0-11) to begin Homecoming weekend at Albright.. The Lions found momentum early and never looked back in what turned out to be a 3-0 sweep.
The Lions won the three sets by a combined 42 points and held the ravens to under 10 points in two of the total three sets.
Set one saw the Lions build a big lead with a 18-1 run in which
Sophie Hampton picked up five service aces. Hampton recorded nine kills and 15 points total in the match.
Rachel Etim was her usual self and recorded a pair of blocked shots and an assisted block with
Elon Ruley-Donadelle.
Neve Straff finished second on the team with six kills to go along with three service aces and six digs.
Paola Mejias continued to set up her teammates well with a team high 15 assists on the night.
Lindsey Korn recorded a team high 10 Digs to surpass the impressive milestone of 500 for her career.
