Football Prepares for Homecoming against FDU-Florham

The Lions will be returning to Shirk Stadium to host the Devils after splitting a pair of games on the road.

READING, Pa. – Football will be back home for the first time in nearly a month to celebrate homecoming against FDU-Florham. The game will be the Lions' third home conference game of the season and begin a stretch of three home games in four weeks to close out the regular season. The Lions will be looking to break a six-game losing streak to the Devils. 
 
TAILGATING INFORMATION 
Tailgating for Saturday's game will be under the dome. Overflow tailgating will be in the commuter lot behind the visitor bleachers. Access to the tailgating areas are only accessible through the Exeter Street side.

ABOUT ALBRIGHT

The Lions are coming off a narrow 17-10 road loss against Eastern in what featured strong defensive performances from each of the top two defenses in the conference. 
 
Chase Roberts continues to hold the lead for passing yards among all MAC quarterbacks (1429) while being the only quarterback among the leaders to average over 200 yards per game (238.2). John Boston continues to rank among the leaders in rushing yards despite missing a game and is one of six players in the conference averaging over 100 rushing yards (103.2). Arthur Poindexter's dominant season continues and leads the conference with 17 more catches (51) and 298 more yards (690) than all other receivers while being tied for the lead in touchdown catches with six. 
 
Albright's defense is coming off their third straight game allowing less than 20 points and has given up the second fewest touchdowns in the conference (15). The Lions continue to be neck and neck with eastern for the fewest yards allowed (1558) while limiting their opponents to a MAC best 325 plays. Through just over half a season, Albright has already recorded double digit sacks (12) and turnovers (10). 

ABOUT FDU-FLORHAM
 
The Devils enter Saturday's contest looking for their first win of the season and are coming off a 41-14 loss against Delaware Valley. The team has shown to be competitive having one score conference losses to Widener and King's. 

Quarterbacks Jake Sconza and Matthew Yascko have each appeared in all six of the team's games with Sconza leading the team in passing yards (946) and touchdown passes (8). Senior running back Kwanir Edwards leads the team with 549 yards from scrimmage to go along with four total touchdowns and can be expected to be a focal point of the Devils' offensive gameplan. 
 
Senior defensive lineman Matt Heineman serves a crucial role for the Devils' defense with a team best seven tackles for a loss and three sacks being disruptive in both the run and pass game. Fellow senior Gio White leads FDU-Florham's defensive backs with two interceptions and six pass breakups.
