ST. MARY'S, Md. – Volleyball (4-10, 1-1 MAC Commonwealth) was topped by St. Mary's (Md) (7-10, 1-1 United East) on Monday evening on the road. The Seahawks took the match in four sets.
The first two sets of the match went to St. Mary's. Albright looked to make a comeback after the third set was won by the Lions 25-23. The comeback bid fell short as the Seahawks closed the match out by winning the fourth set.
Samantha Lipp led the team in kills with seven while adding four digs on the evening. Lipps has recorded multiple kills and digs in the same match this season in nine of the 14 matches.
Elon Ruley-Donadelle recorded a season high four block assists. On the offensive end Ruley-Donadelle added six kills.
Rachel Etim chipped in on the defensive end with a game high six block assists.
Paige Lipp was active all over the court recording three kills, two service aces, one block assist and 11 digs.
Lucia Fernandez added a career high 10 assists while chipping in with four digs on the defensive end.
