Men’s and Women’s Soccer Places Seven Student-Athletes on CSC Academic All-District Team

READING, Pa. – Seven members of the men's and women's soccer team were recognized by being named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. The men's soccer representatives are Daniel Lowman, Will Garnett, Mike Lawry, Martin Ramsay and Gael Velazquez and the women's soccer representatives are Audrey Solt and Alyssa DeVita.

The 2025 Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize top student-athletes for the performances on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District winners are eligible for consideration for Academic All-America Teams.

To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must be a sophomore and have at least a 3.50 GPA and have played in at least 90% of their team's games played or start 66% of their games.

Solt appeared in every game this season playing as a defender for the Lions. For her career Solt started in 35 games while scoring four goals and having seven assists.

DeVita started all 19 games for the Lions this season. DeVita rarely came of the field in 2025 having over 1600 minutes played. The senior ends her Albright career with 65 total starts playing all over the field during her time at Albright.

Ramsay earned his first career All-Conference nod, being named to the Second Team. The forward started all 18 games this season scoring five goals and two assists. The 12 total points led the Lions in 2025. For his career, Ramsay finished with 23 goals including nine game winners and a perfect five for five on penalty kicks. Additionally, Ramsay tallied eight assists to put his career point total at 53.

Velazquez was named to the Second Team after a strong sophomore campaign. Velasquez was a mainstay in the lineup for the Lions starting all 18 games at midfield. The sophomore scored his first career goal this season against FDU-Florham.

Garnett earned All-MAC Commonwealth Honorable Mention honors. Garnett plays defense for the Lions and started 15 games. The sophomore scored his first career goal in the teams 5-1 win over Valley Forge in the second game of the season. Garnett tallied the second goal of the afternoon resulting in Garnett being credited with the game winner.

Lawry had a fantastic year as the team's primary goalkeeper earning a spot on the All-MAC Commonwealth Honorable Mention team. Lawry started 17 of the Lions 18 games totaling five wins, 80 saves and four clean sheets. The total saves and shutouts were good for the third most in the Commonwealth. Lawry matched his career high in saves with 14 against Messiah.

Lowman started 14 of the 17 games this season for the Lions. Lowman's best moment of the season came in the season finale against Alvernia when he scored the game tying goal with just two minutes left to earn the draw on senior night.
