YORK, Pa. - Women's track and field began the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Track and Field Championships on Thursday afternoon on the campus of York College. The Lions were represented today by Orianna Edmond who competed in the hammer throw.

RESULTS

Orianna Edmond qualified for the MAC Championships earlier this year in the Lafyette Open. At the Lafyette Open Edmond reached a distance of 33.16m blowing by the distance of 27.93m needed to qualify for the Championships.

Today, Edmond fared well in the event turning in a throw of 31.59m. The throw was able to beat out eight other competitors in the field.

The women's side will be off until Saturday, May 3 when Elle Haddon and Maggie Williams compete in the javelin and shot put, respectively.
