READING, Pa. –Albright Volleyball (0-1) opened their season at home against Penn State Harrisburg (1-0). Following three sets, the visiting Nittany Lions would leave with a sweep by scores of 25-23, 25-14 and 25-11.
The Lions showed fight throughout the match which included a 5-1 run in the opening set to cut the deficit to one (24-23) prior to the Nittany Lions closing out the set the following attack.
Rachel Etim and
Neve Straff tied for the team lead in kills with five each and finished top two in points with Etim recording eight and Staff recording six.
Etim inches closer to surpassing 400 career kills (392) while Straff is in striking distance of surpassing the 500 mark (477).
Paige Lipp served as the team's setter and recorded 15 of the team's 18 assists in her Albright debut. Lipp also picked up two of the Lions' six service aces.

Isabella Garay who picked up a career high eight digs in an all-around solid defensive effort from the junior.
