READING, Pa. – Volleyball (0-2) played in their second straight home match to start the season on Thursday evening hosting Franklin & Marshall (4-0) on the campus of Albright. F&M won tonight's match 3-0.
After receiving votes in the latest national poll, the Diplomats started strong in tonight's match and carried their first set momentum into the rest of the match to remain undefeated on the season.
Rachel Etim is closing in on career milestones with another strong effort. Etim finished with three kills to stretch her career total to 395. Additionally, Etim added two services aces and is now sitting at 99 career aces. With two games scheduled this weekend, Etim is in line to achieve both career milestones.
Neve Straff added three kills of her own while
Elon Ruley-Donadelle and
Korrine Tillery added two of their own.
Samantha Lipp was strong defensively for Albright finishing with 10 digs.
Isabella Garay and Straff both added six digs each.
