BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Men's golf "A" team played in their second Invitational of the season on Monday afternoon in the Weyhill Classic hosted by Moravian University. A total of 12 Lion golfers teed it up this afternoon across the Lions "A" and "B" teams. Nontaphat Veeratecha won low medalist honors shooting a three under par 69.

FULL RESULTS 

Both Lion teams in action played great golf throughout the day this afternoon. The "A" team finished with a team score of 308 to take home the victory and the "B" team was not far behind with a team score of 317. The "B" team score was good for a third place finish as a team.

Veeretecha played his best round as an Albright Lion to win his first career collegiate tournament. Veeretecha led the field in birdies with seven which included a two under par 34 on the back nine. The junior Lion birdied at least one par three, four and five during his exceptional round. The three under round of 69 was good for the only round of the day under par in the field and Veeratecha's second under par round as an Albright Lion.

Federico Cobos Kallman finished T2 this afternoon giving Albright two golfers inside the top five. Cobos Kallaman has been strong to start the fall season and today was no different with a round of 74. The sophomore recorded four birdies having two of each on both nines.

Jason DiRita earned his first top five finish as a collegiate athlete with a round of 77. DiRita's round was highlighted by birdies on six, nine and 12. From holes 6-13 DiRita had it going playing those holes at two under par.

Evan Twyman came in with a round of 78 to finish just inside the top 10 placing 8^th out of 45 total golfers in the field. Twyman's best nine came on the back shooting one under coming in.

Jonatan Liljeblad followed DiRita and Twyman shooting a 79. J. Liljeblad found two birdies on holes four and 12 helping him to a top T10 finish.

Fredrik Alhanko played well shooting an 80 to seeing another Albright golfer finish inside the top 15. Sam Elsen was not far behind his Lion teammate finishing one stroke behind with a round of 81.

Ashton McKechan and Oliver Liljeblad both shot rounds of 82 this afternoon. The duo combined for four birdies during their round.

Chris DiRita teed it up for the first time this fall and finished with a round of 87. Filip Hjerten matched C. DiRita with a round of 87 while Connor Fields continues his strong play to start the season shooting a round of 88.
