NEWTOWN, Pa. – Nontaphat Veeratecha of the Albright men's golf team was named Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth men's Golfer of the Week. The honor is the first time Veeratecha has been named Player of the Week in his career.

Veeretecha played his best round as an Albright Lion to win his first career collegiate tournament at yesterday's Weyhill Classic hosted by Moravian. He led the field in birdies with seven which included a two under par 34 on the back nine.

The junior Lion birdied at least one par three, four and five during his exceptional round.

The three under round of 69 was good for the only round of the day under par in the field and Veeratecha's second under par round as an Albright Lion.
