NEWTOWN, Pa. – Martin Ramsay of the men's soccer team was named Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth Player of the Week. Ramsay has been named Player of the Week twice this season throughout the first three weeks of the season and the fourth time during his career.
The men's soccer team is off to a good start sporting a record of 4-1-1. This past week, the Lions beat Immaculata 2-0 and Notre Dame (Md.) 2-1 with both results coming on the road.
Against Immaculata, Ramsay put the team up 2-0 scoring his third goal of the season.
The following game, the senior forward scored his ninth game winning goal of his career to down the Gators. Additionally, the goal put Ramsay over the 50-career point mark in his Albright career.
Currently, Ramsay leads the conference in shots on goal (15) and tied for second in the Commonwealth with four goals scored.
Albright will host Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday (Sept. 24) at 7:00 p.m.
