Allentown, Pa. – Volleyball (3-3) dominated the Lehman Lightning (0-2) for their third victory and sweep in a row. The three-game winning streak is the first for the Lions since the 2024 season.
Setting the tone with 10 kills and 13 points was
Neve Straff for her fifth game of the season with 10 or more points. The senior currently sits on the doorstep of 700 career kills (692).
As a team the Lions put up 14 service aces and left the Lightning's defense struggling to adjust for the entirety of the match.
Samantha Lipp put together seven aces in addition to a pair of assists.
While Albright won each set comfortably, the most dominant single set in recent memory for the Lions came in set two in the form of a 25-5 win including two 10-0 runs.
Alexis Akwara turned in another strong performance to close out a dominant two-way tri-match with nine more points courtesy of as many kills and an assist.
With their second sweep today, the Lions have now won their last nine sets.
