Allentown, Pa. – Volleyball (2-3) played their first Tri-Match of the season beginning with the match's host Cedar Crest (0-5). The Lions dominated all three sets to open their day with a comfortable victory.
The Falcons were held to under 20 points in all three sets which included a 25-14 victory in the first set.
Alexis Akwara turned in her best performance of the young season with a match high 12 points including a team best seven blocks. The match's top three scorers were all Lions.
Joining Akwara with double digit points were
Neve Straff and
Lily Donovan who tied for second with 10 apiece. Donovan led the team with eight kills while Straff recorded a team best 12 digs.
Paige Lipp put together another 26 assists to bring her season total to 132 and ended the match with seven points which included four service aces.
The sweep makes it the Lions' second in as many games.
