READING, Pa. – Men's Soccer (0-0-1) hosted Penn State Berks (0-0-1) for the opener of their 50^th season as a program and Albright's first home event of the academic year. Following 90 minutes of entertaining play, both sides would find the net only once in what turned out to be a 1-1 draw.
 
Brady Devito kicked off the scoring in the tail end of the 24^th off an assist from Will Garnett to put the Lions out in front. Devito tied for both the team lead in shots (5) and shots on goal (3). 
 
The two squads traded momentum for the remainder of the first half before a close call allowed Berks to tie things up with a penalty kick in the final seconds of the 40^th minute. 
 
Momentum swings continued in the final 45 minutes with both teams having their fair share of scoring opportunities. Ethan Roe delivered a spark for the Lions off the bench with five shots in 57 minutes. 
 
Will Garnett and Darwyn Avila each came through with a number of clutch breakups to deny numerous scoring chances for the Nittany Lions. 
 
Ultimately the full 90 minutes was not enough time to determine a winner resulting in both teams leaving with a draw.
