READING, Pa. – After playing their first two conference games on the road, Albright Football is set to return to Reading for a matchup with Misericordia. The game will leadoff homecoming Saturday with the Men's Soccer game to follow shortly after.

ABOUT ALBRIGHT
The Lions are coming off a 24-21 loss against Delaware Valley that came down to the game's final play and will look to break a five-game losing streak against the cougars. Albright leads the all-time series 7-6.
Through three games this season, the Lions remain at the top of the conference leaderboard in points per game (31.7) and yards of offense (1352).
Chase Roberts' 841 passing yards remain first among MAC quarterbacks and is tied for the conference lead in touchdown passes with six.

Shayde Shultz and
Kadan Smith each rank in the conference's top eight for receiving yards while Smith also sits at fourth in the conference with 265 rushing yards.
Opposing quarterbacks have taken, on average, five sacks per game at the hands of the Lions' defense. Constant pressure has led to the Lions forcing five total turnovers via three interceptions and a pair of fumble recoveries. Albright's opponents have only converted nine of 37 third downs through three games.
Jaylan Atkinson continues to serve as an on-field commander for the Lions' defense and leads the team with 41 total tackles and has also gotten involved in the pass rush with a pair of sacks.
Nasir Ward and
Darien Osmun both rank in the top 10 with a combined 6.5 sacks between the two.
ABOUT MISERICORDIA
Steve Cushing is in the midst of his second season as Misericordia's head coach after leading his squad to a 7-4 record and MAC-Centennial Bowl appearance in his first season. The Cougars are coming off a 28-24 victory over the Stevenson Mustangs.
Ronnie Borden and Jacob Hunter have split time at QB for the Cougars this season with Borden expected to be the starter for Saturday's contest. Against Stevenson, Borden completed 25 passes for 289 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Junior wideout Jordan Alston leads the team with 241 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns in as many games.
Misericordia's defense has allowed 21.7 points per game which currently sits them at the number seven spot amongst MAC teams. The Cougars' secondary serves as the focal point of their defense and are tied with the Lions and several other teams for the second most interceptions in the conference with three. Austin Lyons leads the Cougars with 24 total tackles which is good for seventh in the conference.
