SALEM, Virginia – Prior to the start of yesterday's NCAA Division III Championship Football game, the 2009 All-American teams were announced by D3Football.com. Earning his first ever All-American selection was senior wide receiver Nate Romig.

The third team All-American selection was the first for the Birdsboro native, and the fourth D3Football.com All-American honor in program history.

In the record setting year by the Lions, Romig totaled 91 catches for 1,341 receiving yards. He also recorded 12 touchdowns and averaged over 103 receiving yards per game. The senior also played a major part in guiding the Lions to the program's first ever 11 win season. To date Romig holds both the all-time touchdown receptions (38) and career point's (268) record at Albright.

Throughout his four year career, Romig totaled 3,398 receiving yards on 241 catches, and played in every possible game (45 games). He helped to lead Albright to two ECAC Bowl games, one of which they won in 2008, and the programs first ever NCAA tournament appearance in over a decade.
