WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - An eight kill performance by Lycoming's Kelly Rose proved to be a major factor in the Warriors (5-7/2-0 Commonwealth) 3-0 victory over the Lady Lions (4-8/0-2 Commonwealth) Tuesday evening at Lamade Gymnasium.
However, Lycoming's victories were not earned easily as Albright never lost a game by more than four points. Games one and two ended with the scoreboard reading 25-21, while the third game was even closer as the Warriors snuck by with a 25-22 win.

Laura van Bendegem# and #
Meg Wheeler# combined for 12 kills respectively on 30 attempts, while only being charged with two errors. Freshman #
Alexa Jones# led the red and white defense with six digs, while #
Kelly Nicodemus# tallied five digs of her own.
On top of Rose's match high eight kills, was a six kill showing by McKenna Warren. Setter Abigail Myers also had a solid match totaling 21 assists. Beth Machelle and Emily Able each tallied seven digs for the Warriors defense.
Volleyball returns to action on Thursday when they host Penn State Harrisburg in a non-conference match at 7 p.m. in the Bollman Center.
