READING, Pa. - It has been just over a month since the Albright Football team closed out it's most successful season ever in program history. Looking ahead to this fall AlbrightAthletics.com has announced the 2010 Albright Football schedule.

The Lions will kickoff their new season on Saturday, September 4th at 7 p.m. against Ursinus College. They will then travel to Geneva College in the first annual PAC-MAC Challenge on Saturday September 11th, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. A meeting between Geneva and Albright has not taken place since 1938, with the Lions holding a 2-0 record all-time.

Following the bye week, the Lions will return to the Shirk Stadium for a 1 p.m. non-conference match-up against Catholic University on Saturday, September 18th. The last time Albright and Catholic squared-off was in 1998, when the Cardinals defeated the Lions by the final score of 34-33 in overtime.

The first Saturday in October (Oct. 2nd) will kick-off the Lions conference schedule and will mark their first road trip of the year. Albright will travel to Wilkes-Barre to face Wilkes University at 1 p.m. The Lions will then return home on October 9th to take on Lycoming College in the 2010 Homecoming Game.

Albright will remain at home for the October 16th game against King's College which is scheduled to kick-off at 1 p.m. From there the Lions will be on the road for back-to-back games starting with Widener University on October 23rd at 1 p.m. They will then head to New Jersey to take on FDU-Florham on October 30th for a 1 p.m. MAC showdown.

In their final regular season home game the Lions will host rival Delaware Valley College at 1 p.m. on Senior Day. The Dutchmen of Lebanon Valley College will host the Lions in the final regular season game of 2010 at 1 p.m. in Annville.
