Women's Swimming Loses Opener at Home

Results

The Albright College women's swimming team faced off against Division-II opposition in its season opener Saturday, losing 121-79 to Bloomsburg University.

Junior Kari Keller was Albright's lone event winner, taking the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.08.

Aimee Snyder, Keller and Liz Muller took 2-3-4 in the 200 IM.

Amanda Oesterlind lost by just 0.19 seconds in the 1000m free, placing second with a time of 11:06.19.

Tricia Janowiak was second in the 50 free, in 25.66, while Codi Herr was second in the 100 free with a time of 55.28.

Albright (0-1) will host MAC rival Lebanon Valley on October 25.
