Also picking up their first hits of the year were seniors
Justin Danser,
Rob Mancinelli, and
Shawn Walbert. Sophomore

Jared Ruppert each made contact for the first time in the Albright uniform.
On the hill junior
Matt Rehrig was handed his first loss of the year in game one after giving up two runs on four hits in five innings of work. Rehrig also went on to record four strikeouts, and did not surrender a walk.
In game two senior
Kevin Thomas had a tough debut after going just 1 2/3 innings in which he gave up four runs on six hits. Only two of those runs were earned, as the Lions were charged with three errors in game two.
Having a solid debut for the Lions pitching staff was Paul Labe, who despite giving up just two runs on four hits, managed to fan a total of three batters.
For Wesley, Sunday's doubleheader consisted of four runs on eight hits in game one, and six runs on 10 hits in the nightcap.
