READING, Pa. – The 2026 Albright baseball team received the Team Academic Excellence Award given out by American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) on Wednesday afternoon.

The award honors ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year. This year's award recipients include nearly 500 college programs and more than 320 high school programs. The full list of 2025-2026 recipients can be found here. 

It is the third time in the last four seasons that Albright has won the award. Albright was one of 10 different MAC member institutions to be named to the team in 2025-2026.
