LAKELAND, Florida – After having a solid afternoon against Clarkson not even 24 hours ago, the Lions bats which were firing on all cylinders fell dormant on the final day of their spring trip as Ramapo College handed Albright a 13-0 non-conference loss Wednesday afternoon at Broer Stadium on the campus of Southeastern University.

Ramapo's bats however did not miss a beat as they tallied 14 hits throughout the nine inning game. Of the Roadrunners 13 runs scored only three were earned as the Lions were charged with a combined five errors.

On top of their offensive showing, starter Travis Zilg was dominant on the mound for Ramapo as he went seven complete innings allowing all five Albright hits, but managed a combined 10 strikeouts and did not surrender a walk.

The Lions pitching staff saw a combined six appearances in Wednesday's non-conference game. Senior Pat Brady started the afternoon for the red and white and pitched an extremely solid three complete innings. Making his return to the hill for the Lions was junior lefty Tyler Storms who went 2/3 of inning after spending most of the year on the disabled list.

Red hot hitters Justin Danser and Tom Canuso both went 1-for-3 on the day. Danser continues to lead the Lions with his astounding .429 average. Canuso has also been one of Albright's most consistent hitters so far this season, with his .393 average.

Baseball will return to action on Saturday when they host Messiah College in their first Commonwealth Conference doubleheader at Kelchner Field. The first pitch is scheduled for noon from Reading.
