Freshman Erin Hand had a goal and an assist and senior goalkeeper Olivia Giuliano recorded her third consecutive shutout as the Albright College women's soccer team defeated Penn State-Altoona on Sunday, 2-0 at Alvernia.

Giuliano made two saves to increase her scoreless streak to 365:23, dating back to an encounter with #1 ranked Messiah last October.

Senior Katie Cooper opened the scoring in the 27th minute, taking a pass from Hand and beating the Altoona goalkeeper to upper left corner.

Hand scored in similar fashion in the second half, hitting the top left corner of the net off a cross from junior Jordan Cassidy.

The Lions remain (2-0-1) remain undefeated and will host Penn College, Wednesday at 5 PM.
