Junior Shawn Murphy scored in overtime as the Albright College men's soccer team came from behind to grab a big 3-2 overtime victory, Saturday at Hood College.

Murphy struck in the 98th minute, running onto a cross from sophomore Chris Bucks and heading it in, giving the Lions a crucial three conference points.

Albright trailed 2-1 in the second half, until junior Lamar Stewart collected Tyler Waters' pass in the 68th minute and finished inside the far post.

Joey Fontanez had given Hood the lead in each half, opening the scoring 20 minutes in and making it 2-1 early in the second period, both off assists from Eric Diehl.

Waters scored his team-leading ninth goal of the season in the 42nd minute, beating a defender before shooting far post.

Senior Ryan Barr made one save in goal as the Lions out-shot Hood 18-8, and held a 17-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Albright is 8-5, 2-1, and hosts Arcadia on Tuesday.
