The Albright College women's tennis team wrapped up a successful fall with a 6-1 record, beating Immaculata 5-0 on Monday.
Albright swept the doubles points, with
Victoria Foanio winning 8-1 at first doubles with a new teammate- sophomore
Melissa Carberry.
Alyssa Sell and
Erin Sullivan (8-3) and
Christina Peacock and
Lauren Sperling (8-6) were also victorious in the second and third spots, respectively.
Foanio (6-1, 6-0) and Sell (6-0, 6-0) easily wrapped up the top two singles matches to clinch the victory, and the contest was then halted due to inclement weather.
Carberry had won the first set of her match at third singles, 6-1. Immaculata was in the lead at fourth, fifth and sixth singles however.
