The Albright College women's lacrosse team won by its biggest margin of the season at home on Saturday, defeating visiting Rosemont College 19-1.
Junior 
Kim Harkins continued her scoring barrage with seven goals, while freshman 
Meghan Wilson added five. 
Tia Claxton had two goals and two assists, while 
Nicole Rohrbach and 
Gabrielle Ceballos scored twice each.
The Lions held a resounding advantage in shots (47-7), draw controls (16-6) and ground balls (21-9); they also were successful on seven of eight clears while Rosemont was just 4-25 in that statistic.
Albright had a double-digit lead with 41 seconds remaining in the first half, as Claxton scored to make it 11-1. The Lions would total three goals in the final minute of the period, with Harkins and Rohrbach sandwiching Claxton's strike.
Wilson had opened the scoring 1:57 in, and soon scored on a man-advantage to make it 3-0. Rohrbach and Ceballos added free position goals early to put the Red and White up 4-0.
Kelsea Guckin scored a nice goal with 5:37 remaining, rattling a shot in off the corner of the upright to put Albright ahead 17-1. Wilson and Harkins scored late to complete the victory.
Rohrbach grabbed a game-high eight draw controls, picked up five ground balls and caused three turnovers. Wilson added four ground balls and Claxton caused four giveaways.
Brittany Fuller, Rosemont's leading scorer in 2011, tallied the Ravens' first goal of the 2012 season, late in the first half. 
Nymira Nelson picked up two ground balls and caused two turnovers.
Albright improves to 3-2 and will travel to Notre Dame of Maryland on March 15.
