The Albright College men's lacrosse team will hold a fundraiser this Saturday for the Wounded Warrior Project at their home game vs. Neumann University.
During Saturday's game, the Lions will pay tribute to the men and women who have been injured in battle defending and protecting our great country. Albright would like to recognize all of these brave warriors and help raise awareness for this great cause.
In the effort to show support, Albright Lacrosse will be wearing red camouflage jerseys to honor America and our armed forces. WWP red camo t-shirts will be sold at the gate to raise funds in the effort to support thousands of warriors returning from the battlefield. These funds will go toward providing combat stress recovery programs, adaptive sports programs, as well as counseling and employment services that will aid in these brave Americans' in their transition back to civilian life.
