Albright out-scored its opponents 4-3 over a span of almost 15 minutes in the first half, but couldn't record a goal otherwise. With 16:03 left in the period, Harkins scored to make it 7-1 on the Lions' first free position shot of the day.

Kim Peifer. Harkins and Wilson soon scored back-to-back however, making it 9-3 Bears.
Tia Claxton had a great chance with 5:30 remaining in the first half, but was unlucky as her hard shot ripped off the post. Harkins soon scored after a nice fake on a free position however to keep Albright within six at 10-4. The Lions would fail to score again however.
Ursinus pushed its lead into double-digits on Peifer's goal early in the second half. The Lions played shorthanded for the final 12 minutes, and
