Albright Football Hosts Free Youth Camp

The Albright College football team hosted its sixth annual free youth football camp on Saturday, April 14th. Over 225 campers shined on the bright and sunny day at Albright College. The clinic was open to 1st through 8th graders in the greater Berks County community.

Current Albright College football players taught fundamentals of the game of football.  The last session of the day featured “Ultimate Football.”

Current players Adam Galczynski, TJ Luddy, Don Gould, Chris Stephens, and Christian DeAngelo delivered positive messages to the campers about hard work, staying in school, and character.

The Youth Camp Committee did an outstanding job organizing this great community service event.  Seniors Marty Reinhardt and Ryan Ott served as Co-Directors of the annual youth camp and for the 2nd year in a row, over 200 campers came out and showed their skills.  The rest of the Youth Camp Committee consisted of JT Harding, Matt Betz, Ty Hughes, Matt Sands, Dan Wenclewicz, Shane Catts, Eric Wade, Bruce Balliet, Chase Stewart, Billy Fursin, and Christian DeAngelo.
